These prints have been taken from original pencil drawings Paul was commissioned to draw as part of a project working with Freixnet Copestick (wine distributer) and Care for Wild - a Rhino Orphanage in South Africa. The artwork had been used on a series of wine labels to promote the wine and support the rescue of orphaned Rhinos cared for by the charity. 100% of the profits from the sale of the prints goes directly to the charity.

A little bit about ‘Arthur’…

Arthur the Brave  

The orphaned rhino featured was rescued following the death of his mother in the hands of poachers.  Arthur was found next to the body of his mother having suffered injuries to both his back and his foot whilst trying to protect her, hence his name.  Since his rescue, Arthur has fully recovered from the injuries and has become a boisterous, healthy member of his rhino crash.

Limited Edition Giclee Print

Paul has limited reproduction of his work to just 450 very high quality Giclee prints, the image measures 30cm x 40cm and comes with an additional 3cm border - These are printed by Whitewall of Germany on Hahnemühle Photo Rag and are hand signed and numbered. Once Framed the piece measures 50cm x 60cm.

The Paper

With a weight of 308g/m² the Photo Rag is one of the most robust papers from Hahnemühle. It is made of 100% cotton and has a matte surface. With its soft, fine texture, this paper is very versatile and is well suited for Paul's work.

The Ink
