After graduating in 2001 and gaining a BA Honours in Fine Art Painting, Paul fell into Graphic Design. Finally, after working in the City of London, he wanted to head back to the painting studio and found a great one by Kew Bridge where he got to meet some great artists and friends. After a few successful exhibitions and involvement with some galleries he became a professional Fine Artist. Originally working on portrait paintings and still creating a few every year. It took a couple of years before he started to experiment with trying to capture the sense of place and produce abstract seascapes and landscapes paintings.

After a decade or so painting in London he was lucky enough to be able to relocate and now lives with his wife and two kids, in Lake District National Park. On the weekends he shares his studio with his seven year old daughter, who one day might follow in the footsteps of her dad and become a seascape and landscape painter.
